The Thursday 30th April episode of ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover showed a StudyBed installation in a home in Ivybridge, Devon. This is the third time we have featured on TV and each time the reaction is overwhelming, with hundreds of phone and email enquiries. Filmed in Bromley in Kent, the instant transformation of a small room into one with space to both sleep in comfort and work at a generously-sized desk has the usual show-stopping effect. Life after the TV programme

This has been VERY hectic, to say the least! For the first two hours immediately after the makeover programme finished, the phone rang non-stop; the rest of the day saw over 3,000 website visits despite the site buckling under the strain; we have received literally hundreds of enquiries for more information; and orders are pouring in daily. Fortunately we are geared up for this by carrying large stocks which we can deliver very quickly throughout the country.

We always knew that the StudyBed was a product to be seen to be believed: compared to a conventional wall bed, a StudyBed offers so much more.

Taking a standard 4ft (small double) mattress, it projects only 107cm from the wall in desk form; it is ideal as either a generously sized Single or a cosy Double. Unlike most wall beds, it is free-standing, in keeping with the style of our 3ft and 4ft 6″ versions. It is also possible to fit one of our perfectly matched Top Boxes, for extra storage. These make perfect guest beds within your home office.
