Bespoke matching furniture

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Using a StudyBed as a basis, we were able to produce an exact fit and match with existing furniture, according to our client’s specification; nestling neatly into an alcove and maximising full use of the available space, this ensemble provides a bed, a large desk, a storage cupboard and a large wardrobe all fully fitted with change from £2500

StudyBed awarded University Contract

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

A very large quantity of StudyBeds has been ordered by Portsmouth Uni as part of their accommodation upgrade scheme. Having trialled a StudyBed for many months now, the reaction and feedback from both the student users and all the accommodation staff has been overwhelmingly favourable. This forward-thinking University has realised the potential for StudyBed to not only offer the student a proper comfortable bed combined with unprecedentedly large working space, but to increase the options as far as room lay-out is concerned. The main deployment of StudyBed will be to optimise space in rooms now designated to accommodate 2 students. Portsmouth University attracts a significant number of visiting international students and this upgraded accommodation standard also creates useful financial economies for both the students and the Uni. We wish all future Portsmouth students huge success with their chosen studies and feel sure the enormous desk surface and storage space provided by StudyBed will make a significant difference to those fortunate enough to have the use of one.

The StudyBed on ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover Ivybridge, Devon

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

The Thursday 30th April episode of ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover showed a StudyBed installation in a home in Ivybridge, Devon. This is the third time we have featured on TV and each time the reaction is overwhelming, with hundreds of phone and email enquiries. The StudyBed really needs to be seen to be believed, and demonstrations such as these really help spread the word: that this is a fantastic space-saving product of REAL quality.

The StudyBed Show-stopper..from a desk to a bed in 3 seconds

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

The power of The StudyBed to literally stop people in their tracks has been demonstrated over 1,000 times a day for the last 25 days at The Ideal Home Show. The instant transformation from desk to bed, without the need to remove anything, repeatedly brought a smile to the face of everyone who witnessed it. Orders have exceeded well over 100 throughout the duration of the Show; and here’s what the organisers had to say about it:

Full steam ahead for the Ideal Home Show

Monday, February 9th, 2009

Of course, preparations for the Ideal Home Show at Earls Court from 20 March-13 April have been simmering away for a few months already, but now it’s time to turn up the heat and get all those last minute items in place in the final month leading up to our first time exhibiting at the show. We are on stand 1E21 in a great location and, in a fantastic tribute to the product, the StudyBed has been selected by the organisers to feature in the Classic Show Home! The emphasis this year is on ‘Improve, don’t move’, and this is where the StudyBed really comes into its own. We are absolutely thrilled to be asked to help, especially as it gives us the opportunity to showcase a bespoke finish to match the exacting requirements of the show home’s designer. The snow may have been a chilly start to the month, but all this activity is keeping us very warm indeed.

Hocus pocus at Interiors Birmingham

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

Our first ever stand at Interiors Birmingham,  the premier trade show for the furniture business, went off really well. We met a huge range of people, from individuals running their own retail or design firms, right through to those responsible for purchasing budgets in the millions. What was universal, however, was the sense of wonder at the StudyBed: what a great concept, what a fantastic way to save space, what a productand very flattering when well-seasoned furniture pros came up and told us it was the most exciting product they had seen in years. So what was all that about hocus pocus? Well, not that we had much time to spare, but our friend on a neighbouring stand did a great line in card tricks - thanks for the added entertainment, Steve, it was the perfect warm up to another amazing piece of magic…The StudyBed!
