StudyBed…the choice of prestigious London developer

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

We have recently completed an extensive installation of StudyBeds and matching bespoke furniture in a prestigous rental development in Paddington owned by Housezone. Each spatially-challenged apartment has been fitted out to the highest standards to attract professional discerning clients and the employment of StudyBeds has complemented the upmarket package. As with all Housezone developments, quality at an affordable price is a key issue.

Powering away in Portsmouth

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

Taking advantage of the short window between the end of the summer vacation lets and the start of the autumn term, the team has been hard at work installing a large number of StudyBeds at Portsmouth University. This upgrade to their accommodation will, we’re sure, be of huge benefit to the students lucky enough to have the use of both the StudyBed’s generously-sized desk and its comfortable, full-sized bed. We wish them good luck with their studies!

The StudyBed Show-stopper..from a desk to a bed in 3 seconds

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

The power of The StudyBed to literally stop people in their tracks has been demonstrated over 1,000 times a day for the last 25 days at The Ideal Home Show. The instant transformation from desk to bed, without the need to remove anything, repeatedly brought a smile to the face of everyone who witnessed it. Orders have exceeded well over 100 throughout the duration of the Show; and here’s what the organisers had to say about it:

Hocus pocus at Interiors Birmingham

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

Our first ever stand at Interiors Birmingham,  the premier trade show for the furniture business, went off really well. We met a huge range of people, from individuals running their own retail or design firms, right through to those responsible for purchasing budgets in the millions. What was universal, however, was the sense of wonder at the StudyBed: what a great concept, what a fantastic way to save space, what a productand very flattering when well-seasoned furniture pros came up and told us it was the most exciting product they had seen in years. So what was all that about hocus pocus? Well, not that we had much time to spare, but our friend on a neighbouring stand did a great line in card tricks - thanks for the added entertainment, Steve, it was the perfect warm up to another amazing piece of magic…The StudyBed!

Lights, camera, action

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

After all this year’s coverage on TV, we’re getting so used to life in front of the lens that we’ve starting filming our own DVD. Hopefully it’ll be a neat way of sharing our excitement about the StudyBed with you, as it gives the opportunity of showing the conversion from bed to desk in action. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so how much must a moving picture be worth? My ever-smiling daughter, Rowenna, has been persuaded to model once again; and a number of satisfied customers have been only too happy to provide filmed testimonials saying how pleased they are with their StudyBeds. And two of our fitters, Steve and Chris, feature as well – thanks, lads! We hope their section on self-assembly may be of huge benefit for those of you handy enough to take on this quite challenging task in the future.
