My wife first saw the StudyBed on a TV makeover show and got me to watch the video on their Web site. Unusually, for someone so frequently cynical, I was instantly bowled over by the product and the potential offered.
Together with the wardrobe and topbox, we now have a well furnished study/computer room for probably 350 days a year and the flexibility of sleeping one or two people on the 4′ bed for the other 15 days. All in a room small enough to be frequently written off as being of little use.
The StudyBed is not cheap but, as in most things in life, quality costs and you get what you pay for. The quality of service was first rate and the installers were courteous, intelligent and careful – a combination of traits rarely found in that line of work!
